Exceptional Candidate of the Year Award 2015

Maria Jana Kingsley-Godwin is the Winner of the  IAHCP Education Academy Exceptional  Candidate of the year for 2015

Maria Jana Kingsley-Godwin was named the IAHCP Education Academy Exceptional Candidate of the year for the 6th consecutive year.  The IAHCP Society Council and Committee panel selected Miss Kingsley-Godwin for the award after high quality competitions involving other candidates at the Centre.

Maria Jana joined our special educational programme in 2008 as an Exceptionally Gifted and Talented Person.  She had achieved high level education since then and had progressed immensely in her academic work, including in other social activities at our centre and at other institution she attends.

Maria Jana is the youngest candidate in our centre to achieve high level at GCSE and A level equivalent subjects.  She is also the youngest candidate in our Applied Sciences and Higher Professional Development Diploma Course in Healthcare, level 6 BSc equivalent course at the age of 10, where she has been working with other candidates who are over 18 years of age.  She is top of that class and she has finished the Higher Diploma level 6 course in July 2015.

In accepting her award from Dr Matilda Gordon, one of the IAHCP Society Trustees/Director, Maria Jana said ‘I am very honoured to receive this award again.  I have enjoyed my studies at the centre since 2008, and I am very motivated, and I have enthusiasm to achieve more in the areas of medical and healthcare sciences in the future’.

Dr Matilda Gordon stated that ‘young exceptional people like Maria Jana are very rear and hard to find in the World’.  Dr Gordon also commented that ‘Maria Jana is an inspiration to people around the World for her great achievements’.

Maria Jana hopes to start her medical school course in the future.  She also said that she “will continue to write and publish her books”, as she is now expanding her writing into medical sciences, and healthcare matters.

Maria Jana has also been invited by the Organising Committee of the IAHCP Society Medical Conferences to attend their International Medical Conferences in 2015 to present her various projects on eating disorders, diabetes and its complications, infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases and managing chronic and long term diseases in the community.  The outcome of these presentations and papers will be reported in our News Section in due course.

Many congratulations to Maria Jana Kingsley-Godwin!
