It was also agreed by the Trustees/Directors and General Committee that new participants will no longer be admitted unto lelels 1 to 8 programmes, and that the administration of the existing participants will continue to rotate in the agreed locations from 1 September 2016 to 31 December 2026.

It was further agreed by the Trustees/Directors and General Committee that exam boards for programmes from August 1947 to August 2016 for all the levels 1 to 8 programmes will be as approved previously in the participants records.

However, the new proposed exam board and regulatory services for the uncompleted levels 1 to 7 equivalent programmes will be agreed from 2021/2022, and they will become membership services for any nominated Association independently at that time.

The administration rotations for the uncompleted levels 1 to 7 equivalent programmes will be between the participating continents, and from December 2025 the administration of the remaining programmes will be based in the continent of Africa in a nominated country.

The Trustees/Directors and General Committee also directed that as from January 2026, the Education Academy Learning Centres globally will only offer short courses, workshops and continuous professional development(CPD) programmes in order to continue to provide life long learning to healthcare professionals worldwide.
